Spatial Narrative: Pandora's
Workshop Results of "Spatial Narrative"
November 4, 2022 6:00 PM

The “Spatial Narrative” workshop aims to bridge borders between creative realms.

The academic motivation of this workshop is to expand the means of artistic expression into the open fields of creative writing that offset the formal conventions of any distinct realm. We explore what connections and distinctions exist between different genres and media as well as bridges between cultures, genders, and minds. Departing from a narrative, the workshop aspires to create a strong connection with a source of creativity to venture through preliminary reading and writing and underline the positive effect it may have on our creativity. We will transform written narrative into spatial realisations and re-read and develop these spatial accumulations into an interactive, performative setting. Through this process of analysis and translation we seek to discover new common ground but as well areas of distinction and sanctuary.
