The NOT YET festival visits Norway.
Following its first instalment in London, the festival lands at Færderbiennalen with de(part): a new large-scale interdisciplinary performance project developed through the AAIS programme. For two weeks, an international group of artists, performers, filmmakers, designers, and spatial practitioners take over the quarry site through a series of workshops that test ideas in real time and feed directly into the final live performance.
Part performance, part live experiment, de(part) treats the larvikite landscape of Bruddet på Brøtsø as a place to test limits. Caught between building and disrupting, stretching and reassembling; there is freedom found in breaking, relief in detaching, and a thrill in discovering what can only emerge when structures are pushed far enough to shift.
The programme moves between live-making and collective production, drawing in local dancers, curators, and chefs who become part of the work itself, setting the festival in motion with a performative dinner built around local ingredients and communal preparation.
Temporary, international, and intensely collaborative, de(part) is a meeting point with disciplines and people working in constantly shifting configurations.
What gathers here will disperse again.
