The Architectural Association (AA) is keen to hear from students who can demonstrate initiative in entering the forms of presentation, discussion and debate that permeate the school, the architectural community and the world at large. We are looking for students who have a combination of curiosity and ambition that is required to define a unique path through a school that fosters a multitude of methods and agendas.
If you would like to apply, please read through our Academic Programmes page:

The AA is a Higher Education Institution (HEI) and is one of the oldest schools of architecture in the UK. The AA is not a member of UCAS and all applications are made directly through the school. Further information regarding entry requirements, documents you need to provide and admissions process can be found on the AA's Admissions programme pages.
The AA offers a number of scholarships and bursaries, student assistantships and hardship funding to help ensure that the most talented students are able to study at the AA, regardless of their financial means. Read more about the financial assistance available.
To apply for scholarships and bursaries, students must apply by the Early Application Deadline on Friday 23 January 2026.
The late application deadline is on Friday 6 March 2026.
We occasionally make exceptions for late applicants up until 30 May 2026, subject to the discretion of Programme Heads. We encourage prospective applicants to email postgraduateadmissions@aaschool.ac.uk first if applying after the late deadline.
